Linux ENG Infrastructure Developer – Vice President

As an experienced Infrastructure Development professional, your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your hands-on knowledge in system design, application development, testing and operational stability will help your team deliver high quality products. You’ll be instrumental in solving more difficult technical issues, developing integration elements, building data models, APIs, and open 3rd-party SDKs. Linux Engineering is responsible for producing and maintaining the Linux builds and life cycles, core standards and associated technologies used throughout the bank. This includes Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware, Cloud, Containers, Machine Images, Security and Automation products. Security, Stability, Automation, and Innovation are key common themes for all our offerings.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join Linux Engineering to deliver automated and secure Linux Products for the Cloud and on premise . You will be part of a global Linux Engineering team responsible for developing many products using IaaS (virtual machines) and PaaS/CaaS (container) technologies. All development is fully automated following SDLC, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices. We also follow GitOps principles deliver products. Opportunity exists to enhance, automate, and add innovation to any of our existing solutions and services. You will also assist developing skills within our existing SRE teams to help support and maintain any services and products we own. You must have a good working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Cloud (AWS/GCP/VMware), strong DevOps skills and preferably experience with large scale enterprise environments. If you have passion for Cloud Native, DevOps, Linux, Automation and Open Source, analyzing and writing code, diagnosing problems, supporting services to a growing community and have a good appreciation for customer experience, you’ll be a good fit!
