We are upgrading an internal design system to embrace modern CSS technologies and design system principles. We maintain a library of over 80 React components. All new work is being undertaken on an Open Source Github repo, (links below).

Main requirement is React and CSS experience and an interest in Design Systems.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of building React components
  • Understands the importance of API design
  • Has some experience of more advanced React patterns e.g. usage of custom hooks
  • Follows developments in the JavaScript and React ecosystems

You will work closely with UX and Visual designers, documentation and Accessibility specialists

We operate in small agile pods

An earlier version of the project is well established internally and used in over 1000 applications. The journey to truly embrace design system principles and to full open source status is only just beginning.
