Job Description

  • We are looking for a strong technical leader to help extend the capabilities of the award winning Nexus platform.
  • The Nexus platform allows our clients to implement their trading strategies at low cost by offering them a simple synthetic (derivative based) payoff on their investments' performance. Our platform is responsible for enabling this complex process: accepting client instructions, integrating them with JP Morgan systems, and helping clients understand the performance of their portfolios.
  • The successful candidate will be an established and experienced software engineer who is happy working very closely with the front office.
  • The technologies used by the team include Python and TypeScript (React).

Mandatory skills

  • Demonstrable track record as a technical leader and enterprise software engineer.
  • Experience of working in a front office environment within financial services

Key skills

  • Team player
  • Excellent analytical skills (i.e. problem solving)
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts and technologies

Desirable skills

  • A solid foundation in computer science and software engineering principles
  • Familiarity with some of: Python, Typescript, React.
