The Securities Services business is comprised of Markets, Custody, Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Middle Office outsourcing, Foreign Exchange, and other activities related to servicing assets for traditional and alternative funds.

The Role:
Market Asset Services (MAS) supports all Asset Servicing activities, including corporate actions, income processing, dividend re-investments, proxy and class actions with emphasis on risk management, efficiency and client service. MAS is a global team operating in 9 cities supporting Markets and Wealth Management.


The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for:

  • The business management for Markets Asset Services, including headcount and budget management.
  • Leading and implementing scalability initiatives globally, while ensuring that all efforts and priorities are in line with the Firm’s goals and objectives.
  • Establishing and/or enhancing meaningful reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
  • Serving as the central liaison for the overall transformation roadmap, leveraging data to identify trends and themes and managing benefits and priorities across MAS.

As a member of the COO, you will play an integral role in defining and executing on various business strategies and contribute to the long-term strategic roadmap and transformation of the business.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify common themes and develop solid business cases/requirements in partnership with MAS, Risk and Controls, Strategic Transformation and Automation Solution to support the broader strategic agenda for MAS
  • Drive Innovation efforts across the organization, ensuring stakeholders are onboard with the process opportunities / requirements and support delivery
  • Contribute to the Metrics and Data strategy by working with Finance to develop more granular reporting to understand expenses and HC changes as well as implemented Business reviews to drive better management oversight and control
  • Develop a communication strategy to enhance transparency and engagement across the MAS organization
  • Manage vendor engagement, working with vendor management team to create, extend and close contracts and manage vendor payments


Requirements/Skills:

  • Extensive relevant industry experience, ideally coupled with strategic, business management and financial experience
