This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including the following:

Must Haves:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of architecture and design across systems
  • Good analytical thinking and problem solving mindset.
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Hands on experience in server-side Core Java, XML, JSON, J2EE programming, Spring Framework and design techniques, development of web applications and REST APIs
  • Exposure to relational databases - Oracle/Sybase or non-relational database
  • Working Knowledge of version control practices using GIT, Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins etc.,
  • Knowledge of Linux, Shell scripting and application services like Apache and Tomcat, Springboot
  • Experience with any of UI technologies - AngularJS, Javascript, JQuery or REACT etc
  • Working experience in Cloud native platforms – AWS, Google Kubernetes or Private clouds (Pivotal, etc)
  • Software development best practices.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in MongoDB would be preferred.
  • Knowledge on Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Flyway and/or Concordion.
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends.
