We are looking for Mobile Quality Assurance Engineers to join our newly acquired business, Global Shares (a J.P. Morgan Company). The Global Shares Transaction was announced on March 15, 2022. Founded in 2005, Global Shares is a leading cloud-based provider of share plan management software.   • Software testing is required to identify defects and errors that were made during the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Testing improves product reliability and stability, which in turn improves customer satisfaction in the application

  • Testing is required to validate that the application is fit for purpose, working as intended and can be used by the customer in an efficient and effective manner
  • Testing in advance helps to ensure issues are identified as early as possible in the SDLC which in turn reduces costs in other areas of the business

What the role will involve:

  • Help expand and maintain the mobile automation framework
  • Contribute to the creation of functional and regression test suites
  • Analyse test results, record test activities and track defects
  • Clearly articulate and communicate project status
  • Manage priorities and set expectation when faced with multiple demanding tasks
  • Analysis of business requirements and the development of test scenarios, test cases and test plans based on those scenarios
  • Execution of those test plans
  • Working across functions within the organisation to agree user testing and subsequent release of software
  • Collection and analysis of metrics that are designed to help improve the quality of the final product
  • Estimation of QA tasks and meeting project schedules
  • Preparing detailed test cases and creation of data set for automation

Interested? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Experience in using test automation tools for test execution against a mobile applications, Android & iOS
  • Experience with Appium simulator software essential
  • Proficient in testing techniques.
  • Have a strong knowledge on all phases of testing.
  • Ability to use initiative and willing to generate ideas to continuously refine testing processes to improve quality.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins)
  • BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Nice to haves/let us support your upskilling:

  • Experience in Java programming desirable
  • Experience in TestNG testing framework desirable (knowledge in other frameworks a plus)
  • Previous coding experience would be advantageous
  • Previous knowledge of API testing would be advantageous
  • ISTQB Certification is advantageous
