The Securities Services Operations Business Management team is embarking on a strategically important global, multi-year programme to improve Operational efficiencies and automation.

The team is looking for a high-performing Associate to join the Change Governance team, assuming a key role in the successful delivery and management of the Operations strategy globally.

The successful candidate will work closely with Head of Change Governance and with the Head of F&BM to support across business updates, project management, data analysis and adhoc requests.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with outstanding executive presence presentation skills with the ability to bring people together and face off to colleagues at all levels of the organization.

Position Description

Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of a portfolio of projects driving collaboration across the board and ensure teams are working on high impact projects that align with defined missions and goals

Responsible for creating the executive monthly business updates and track the status of the technology and operations efficiencies deliveries

Manage business managers, product development, operations and technology stakeholders inputs, bringing to bear all the appropriate strategic details in support of the senior business and Change Governance agenda

Deliver to the project managers productivity and efficiency updates on programmes and strategic initiatives in monthly basis and support the project governance agenda across Securities Services Operations

Provide hands-on program management and manage priorities through planning and effective communication including articulating status and big picture to the project team and stakeholders, proactively identifying risks and track efficiencies

Supporting the developing and delivering of the Change Governance strategic programmes aligned to business priorities and Executive Committee agenda

Monitor in partnership with business managers, finance leads, technology and operations managers the status for the strategic initiatives in a monthly basis

Create high quality materials providing regular updates to the project managers and other senior leaders to facilitate fact-based decision making

Requirements/Skills

2-5 yrs Investment Banking Front Office/Operations, or Consulting experience, ideally coupled with business management and financial experience with relevant exposure to senior management and stakeholders

Comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting-style, dynamic and unstructured environment

Master’s Degree in Finance / Management / Economics or in quantitative field. MBA, CFA, FRM, PMO is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to articulate complex operating model solutions at a level appropriate and intelligible to the recipient

Fluent in project management disciplines and an ability to instil structure, process, accountability, delivery and stakeholder focus

Demonstrates a positive ‘can-do’ attitude’ and contribute to an energetic and motivated team environment with a strong sense of urgency and work ethic

A team player who is flexible and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance in demanding/time-sensitive initiatives

Strong-willed individual with good gravitas and with excellent attention to detail
