Digital & Platform Services (D&PS) represents CIB's Technology, Operations & Infrastructures, the Data, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital organizations. A global function that delivers solutions, client service and technology and operational support for our CIB Banking, Global Markets and Investor Services businesses. The Market Ops Transformation group is responsible for driving an overall portfolio of change across transformation, automation and digital tool programs to achieve operational transformation.

The Individual

We are looking for an experienced and high performing individual to manage our strategic agenda for client reference data, who will have a strong background in data analysis and change. The role will involve -

  • Defining problem statements, eliciting requirements from analysis, and prioritizing alongside the business users
  • Performing analysis of client reference data across products and businesses and comfortable using tools to interrogate data to describe current-state use of data
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams including the Business, Technology, Operations and Data & Analytics teams to manage the adoption of strategic data, delivering value to users through the inclusion of enhanced client data

Key Qualifications required for this Role

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry, with a good understanding of the products and markets in which the investment bank operates
  • Strong business analysis skills and consistent execution
    • Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver work of a high standard, to tight timelines
    • Proactive business process reengineering experience, a tenacity to drive to root cause of issues and leading efforts to define creative solutions
    • Shape programs of work and responses to complex data issues
  • Exceptional communication skills:
    • Attention to detail with the ability to succinctly communicate requirements to businesses
    • Ability to interpret issues raised, and prioritize to key stakeholders regarding resolution plans and expectations
  • Outstanding work ethic:
    • Ability to consistently deliver results with little direct supervision and knows when to seek assistance or escalate
    • Eager to learn and seeks out opportunities to enhance skills of digital tools
    • Team player with ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues at all levels and functions in a collaborative manner in order to achieve results
  • Strong technical competencies:
    • Good data mining skills and experience in running analysis of data using various tools
    • Ability to define processes and use of data across trading flows
