Global Financial Crime Compliance (GFCC) is responsible for the provision of Compliance services to the firm relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The EMEA CCOR Testing Team is responsible for the timely and effective management and execution of the EMEA CCOR monitoring and testing programme across multiple lines of business. This role will support the Head of EMEA GFCC Testing in the planning and execution of the programme. The Testing Team partners and supports Line of Business Compliance Officers and other areas of Compliance globally.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Execution of the EMEA GFCC Monitoring and Testing Program in line with the firm’s expectation.
  • Testing of businesses impacted by Regulatory Changes relating to GFCC.
  • Co-ordination with line of business Compliance Managers including the GFCC dedicated teams.
  • Perform of issue validation in line with the firm’s expectations.
  • Working closely with Internal Audit and CCOR Compliance to ensure the effectiveness of the CCOR Monitoring and Testing programme.
  • Co-ordination of Audit, Regulator and Client enquiries and reviews relating to CCOR Monitoring and Testing.
  • Involvement in departmental projects particularly in relation to the development of the Annual CCOR Monitoring and Testing Plan.
  • Work with global testing partners to lead or support global monitoring and testing assignments as directed.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate should:

  • Be able to demonstrate an ability to interpret financial regulations and regulatory requirements and assess operational Compliance with those requirements with particular focus on financial crime.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of control design and root cause analysis
  • Possess good interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility with senior business and CCOR partners.
  • Have clear and concise verbal and written skills, and be able to construct and deliver Testing Reports to senior management.
  • Have a good appreciation of the regulations applicable to the relevant business, particularly new and upcoming regulations.
  • Be a team player, able to work with other team members across CCOR.
  • Have good organizational skills with an ability to manage, prioritise, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Be comfortable interacting with, and presenting to, senior business management and control functions.
  • Be able to quickly understand a highly complex and often rapidly changing business environment
  • Have flexibility regarding working hours.
  • Have a minimum three years’ assurance (audit or similar) or relevant Compliance experience.
  • Possess relevant specialised Qualifications (e.g. ICA, ACAMS, ACA, ACCA etc).
  • Audit or relevant Industry Qualifications or a University Degree.
