All of our projects are Agile with integrated teams of creative and technical specialists.

SUMMERY OF ROLE/JOB DESCRIPTION –

As a Principal Delivery Manager you will have a strong track record of large-scale delivery experience. As a Principal, you are a disciplined expert setting the benchmark for quality and best practice. You are passionate about what you do and motivate those around you. You will have a strong track record of delivery, solving complex technical and product problems. You will have successfully delivered programs using lean and agile techniques, and ideally within a scaled agile framework. You're comfortable providing leadership and governance across a multi-team programme or running proof-of-concept workstreams for executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for initiative level planning and alignment, data based forecasting, reporting, and identifying and resolving program level risks, dependencies, impediment and blockers.
  • Accountable for delivery quality across the Initiative and maintaining the consistency of approach and a clear governance framework
  • Enabling continuous improvement and high quality outcomes through the promotion and use of agile scaled methodologies
  • Driving successful project delivery, collaborating within a team of Delivery Leads
  • Communicate to a wide range of stakeholders and client teams, aligning them to the delivery strategy and ensuring shared understanding of reporting and desired outcomes
  • Promoting the Delivery discipline across the initiative and tribes
  • Collaborate with the Lead Product and Technology roles to enable squads delivery
  • Comfortable leading and coaching a high performing team of delivery leads
  • Become a trusted advisor to the Product Head collaborating with them to deliver business and customer value

Skills/ Qualifications should include:

  • Expert practitioner of agile and lean practices drawing on experience of established frameworks and able to adapt them to meet program needs
  • Data-driven delivery practitioner, using data to drive decisions
  • You can understand and forecast key deliverables and communicate the program status clearly with senior stakeholders and are comfortable operating in ambiguity
  • When you see risks to delivery, you help teams mitigate them.
  • Able to shape your message to suit your audience’s needs using excellent communication, negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering digital products in complex environments
  • Agile and lean advocate that can coach and educate without being dogmatic. You are commercially savvy and are able to work across teams and with vendors and partners
