The Cybersecurity & Technology Controls (CTC) team at JPMorgan Chase aligns the firm’s cybersecurity, access management, controls, and resiliency teams. The group proactively and strategically partners with all lines of business and functions to enable them to design, adopt, and integrate appropriate controls; deliver processes and solutions efficiently and consistently; and drive automation of controls. The team’s number one priority is to enable the business by keeping the firm safe, stable, and resilient. Within CTC, the Data Assurance organization is focused on maximizing the firm’s ability to manage it’s data risk and operate with the appropriate risk tolerance. The Data Assurance Team is looking for an Information Architect to focus on the following:

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive defensible data control assurance framework in partnership with GRC and CTO organizations for implementation within the product framework
  • Work cross-organizationally to define a set of data classification patterns to support the assurance of data controls inclusive of data taxonomies, persistent labeling, and classification
  • Evaluate cross-organizational data initiatives and develop an integrated map of how each platform, service, and program intersect with recommendations on engagement
  • Act as the subject matter expert on Data Assurance Information Architecture with a focus on defining and recommending scalable solutions across all data risk stripes
  • Research industry standards and recommend improvements to data taxonomies, classification, and structure to improve the understanding, protection, and use of critical data
  • Information Architecture Consultation and Governance across all Data Risk stripes and associated product operating model engagements
  • Drive consensus and alignment across all Corporate Function and Line of Business Stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD) methodology
  • Fluency designing information architectures for system interoperability for both on-prem and cloud environments
  • Knowledge of core Information Architecture capabilities, including Master and Reference Data Management, Data Quality (DQ), Metadata Management, Data Classification, Taxonomy, Data Integration, Data Migration and Data Modelling
  • Ability to create abstraction and generalization of solutions into design patterns
  • Knowledge of a various of industry standard data architecture patterns
  • Experience in risk control and compliance
