The Client Account Services Team is a client facing group whose core responsibilities include managing advanced / complex client onboarding, establishing accounts, guiding clients through market entry requirements to enable trading, managing market renewals and client restructures as well as setting up and maintaining information in reference databases.

In this role you’ll be responsible for implementing a strong governance framework across all the global CAS teams, who process account set up activities for all products from multiple locations. You will represent CAS on governance and regulatory forums and be the main point of contact for local and global regulatory reviews and initiatives.

As a Client Account Services Regulatory & Governance Manager, you will:

  • Review governance activity across CAS and the multiple product lines.
  • Represent CAS on Global Governance and Regulatory forums.
  • Recommend enhancements to procedures, which strengthen the existing controls.
  • Support the tracking of progress and the reporting of management information.
  • Respond to client and internal stakeholder queries.
  • Ensuring adherence to all governance responsibilities under each regulatory regime.
  • Provide senior leadership and promote a strong risk culture across the global teams
  • Ensure outsourcing, offshoring documentation and protocols are maintained

Skills required are advanced:

  • Strong, Regulatory / Governance and Controls background.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding Client Assets (CASS) Client Money (CMA) and other European / Global regulations.
  • Strong time management skills, self-directing and capable of dealing with high pressure, time sensitive tasks.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail to prevent control issues and minimise risk.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and operate in a changeable environment.
  • Analytical and problem resolution skills, using data to proactively identify potential areas of risk and drive change within a complex organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication able to present to senior leaders and manage key stakeholders.

Additional skills:

  • Financial Service experience in risk and controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management or compliance preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Securities Services Product knowledge.

Knowledge required (preferred but not essential)

  • End to end Custody and Collateral workflow would be beneficial.
  • Alteryx flows and Tableau dashboard creation.
  • Understanding of the Outsourcing and IAS Charters process.
  • Knowledge of Business Resiliency planning.
