Cross Product Change Services (CPCS) is a change delivery organization within the CIB’s Digital & Platform Services (D&PS) that provides integrated change, testing and implementation support to CIB businesses. CPCS capabilities include end-to-end test management and automation, business analysis, data analytics and program management, which are tailored to enable strategic initiatives in the Payments, Markets and Securities Services businesses, as well as cross-business functions such as Client Onboarding.

Role Description

CPCS is seeking an experienced and dynamic communications professional to join our Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to support the development and delivery of executive communications and employee engagement strategies. They will contribute to story generation, manage and write content, and cross-support various communications functions, managing the communications needs, activities and channels for the CPCS organization.

In this role, they will write a wide array of content for the internal Symphony, SharePoint and Confluence sites, draft executive messages and talking points, conduct research, proofread, and support special projects. As part of the wider D&PS team, this role will interact closely with colleagues from across the CIB lines of business. As a member of the PMO, they will join a team focused on optimizing change delivery through key continuous improvement workstreams: 360 engagement & communications, performance and value measurement, scaling process improvement (including automation and data solutions), and capability management.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of internal communications strategies and best practices, executive communications advisory experience, excellent writing capabilities and know how to scale and market those efforts in an enterprise and highly-matrixed environment.


  • Devise internal communications plans and campaigns for the CPCS organization, supporting the MD to meet their business and employee engagement needs.
  • Work closely with CPCS management, business management, internal communications, human resources, and finance partners to understand goals, to ensure a cohesive communications strategy, and to assist in implementing communications tactics.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and engagement with broader business or firm-wide programs and strategic initiatives, such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
  • Manage communications projects/ initiatives from beginning to end, and support special projects as required.
  • Write executive communications for the CPCS MD, such as organizational announcements, business and people priority-related messages, event-driven notifications and topical management talking points.
  • Write content and messaging (digital articles, newsletters, announcements, talking points, town halls, blogs, video scripts, etc.) consistent with the CPCS communications plan related to business vision and objectives.
  • Provide event-planning support and create PitchPRO+ content for senior stakeholder engagement, town halls, MD/ ED meetings, offsites, and showcase/ innovation forums.
  • Convey information in a clear, consistent voice.
  • Use data to identify patterns and adjust the communications strategy accordingly to be most effective.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization, best practice, continuous improvement, and cross-training within CPCS change delivery teams.


  • Internal and corporate communications experience, including extensive hands-on writing, editing, project management, and presentation building, focused on internal business and employee content.
  • BA/ BSc degree in Communications, Marketing or Journalism preferred.
  • Knowledge in financial services industry and general understanding of technology, operations, and data ideal, but not required.
  • Senior executive communications advisory, writing and management experience.
  • A strategic and creative thinker with proven ability to devise strategic communications plans and campaigns.
  • Ability to operate both at the strategic level and at the tactical and execution levels to deliver excellence and cohesive messaging.
  • Expert proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to source, tell and write impactful stories.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage end-to-end, cross line of business projects with precise execution.
  • Experience working with internal communications tools and platforms; familiarity with communications measurement tools and metrics preferred.
  • Excellent at relationship building, collaborating, and engaging.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert knowledge of PitchPRO+ (PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and an ability to present data through Tableau dashboards are preferred.
