The CIB Central Controls Office is responsible for oversight and governance of the Corporate & Investment Bank control environment including the development and delivery of an enterprise-wide framework to manage control-related processes driven by Regulation and or Compliance requirements.

As the Central Controls Office - Regulatory and Policy Change Management - Vice President you are responsible for the delivery of projects and programs driven by changes in laws, rules, regulations, policy, standards and procedures from identification to implementation. You, with the team will work with a wide group of stakeholders, within and outside of the Corporate & Investment Bank to implement controls related change initiatives.

Managing a variety of projects and programs with different size and scale is a key part of your role. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of sustainable operating models, whilst managing risk and maintaining effective communication and transparency with stakeholders. Partnership, collaboration and leadership skills are important along with the ability to Influence and negotiate in a matrix environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, delivery and implementation of programs generated by regulatory and policy/standard changes owned within the Central Controls Office.
  • Completion of current state analysis, participate/ lead on the design and implementation of end to end target operating models and sustainable control solutions.
  • Deliver the Regulatory and Policy Change Management program portfolio in a timely manner, within budget and control expectations. Drive project governance including working groups.
  • Management and preparation of project management material including executive level presentations. Presentation of program and project updates to stakeholders and senior executives. Provide timely, consistent and accurate project reporting.
  • Provide credible challenge to project risk assessment and reporting. Ensure effective quality assurance and integrity within the programs.
  • Ensure project framework and solutions adhere to firm wide policies and standards.
  • Partnering, and collaborating with stakeholders to reach agreed outcomes which deliver sustainable business as usual operating models. Involvement in other key global, strategic initiatives, as directed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and Skills:

  • Proven experience as program manager or relevant role, including experience with regulatory or controls projects.
  • Ability to problem solve, design end to end solutions and identify opportunities to continuously enhance existing processes.
  • Ability to analyze data and issues to provide robust solutions.
  • Strong skills in time management with the ability to manage complex work plans, conflicting priorities and the ability to multi-task when required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to present work accurately and professionally both verbally and in writing.
  • Team player who works well with colleagues of all levels in achieving results, and willing to take personal accountability.
  • Ability to effectively manage across a wide range of stakeholders, and Comfortable working independently in a dynamic and change based environment.
