The Wholesale Payments Product Delivery organization is responsible for scaling and integrating payments platforms across Commercial Banking and the Corporate & Investment Bank, by defining the product strategy, segmenting clients and packing solutions against these segments, determining the end-to-end delivery strategy, managing product launches and enabling the sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Management, Strategy & Product Development

o Understand the Transaction Services business and how clients use and benefit from our products

o Analyze industry trends with cross currency payments and cash management, risk, and regulatory developments and competitive landscape to deliver solutions that address client needs, while meeting critical deadlines and navigating constraints

o Represent the Commercial Bank in the product development and rollout process. Manage product risk and control processes

o Understand the end-to-end product process flows and handoffs to ensure a positive client experience

o Identify and submit Change Requests and associated Business Requirements for enhancements

  • Market enablement

o Work with partners to develop and maintain Commercial Bank-specific product collaterals and training

o Develop key relationships across the Commercial Bank, regionally and globally, to allow for coordinated execution across multiple geographies

  • Pricing Management

o Assist in ensuring client deals follow appropriate pricing guidelines, principles, and approval processes, and key stakeholders across all impacted business are engaged

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Payments Products and/or foreign exchange, preferably product management, product/solution delivery, project management or consulting. International banking experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange and cross currency payment solutions, including technical, market, processing and regional nuances
  • Experience with the commercialization of new products; support readiness, marketing collateral, pilots
  • Understanding of product and project management principles, tools, and practices
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including business case creation
  • Methodical and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organization skills; a self-starter
  • Combination of strong analytical skills and creative problem solving to synthesize large amounts of information into crisp recommendations; present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences
  • Understands the risk/cost/revenue dynamics of the Treasury Services cross currency payment business and can articulate the implications of changes
  • Understanding of relevant risk, compliance, and regulatory issues and exposure
  • Understanding of the Commercial Bank client base and infrastructure, and interdependencies across other lines of business
