Description

The Security Settlements team sits within the Corporate Investment Bank business The team is responsible for monitoring all EMEA trade settlement across European and Global markets supporting the CIB business globally for the Cash, EDG, Prime Services and Securitised Derivative businesses for Equities plus Credit and Rates for Fixed Income.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the identification and delivery of Operational Efficiency and Automation opportunities as well as mandatory Programs driven by Business demand, Industry and Regulation.

Departmental Duties:

  • Securities trade settlement for all EMEA Markets (Europe, Middle East, Africa)
  • To provide support and information regarding trade queries to the Middle Offices and their trading personnel.
  • To liaise with Custodians and external clients as primary contact to resolve settlement issues.
  • Some asset servicing and cash management functions

Key Responsibilities

  • Identification and Delivery of Operational Efficiency and Automation opportunities
  • Management of mandatory Projects driven by Business demand, Industry and Regulation.
  • Co-ordination with Technology on best use of available resource
  • Producing regular program updates and scorecards for key stakeholders

Key Skills Required

  • Experience with Automation Tools such as Alteryx, UIPath, Xceptor
  • Attention to detail

Experience (nice to have but not essential)

  • Understanding of UK and European Securities markets
  • Securities knowledge, preferably settlements experience
  • Technical knowledge of securities transaction processing
  • Project/Program Management experience
