The Global Shares team in the Asset & Wealth Management Solutions business seeks to hire an experienced Vice President to drive key analysis efforts for our Global Shares business.

The Team

The firm closed on the Global Shares acquisition on August 11, 2022. Founded in 2005, Global Shares is a leading cloud-based provider of share plan management software. Global Shares’ employee ownership solutions cover the entire company lifecycle and caters to corporates worldwide.

Global Shares has an expansive client base of over 700 corporate clients that range from early-stage start-ups to multinational public corporations. The firm has nearly $200 billion in assets under administration across 900,000 corporate employee participants. It operates with an experienced team of more than 700 employees headquartered in Cork, Ireland and 16 further locations across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, North America and Asia Pacific.

The Role

The role requires an individual with proven business analytics, communication and teamwork skills, with a track record of successfully completing strategy, innovation or large scale change management projects.

The role will partner closely with the following senior executives: The Chief Commercial Officer for Global Shares, Sales and Business Development leads for Global Shares, and senior leaders across all lines of business serving as Global Shares champions (e.g., CIB, CB, AWM, CCB). This is a high visibility role with regular interaction with the Head of Digital Innovation and Digital Private Markets, the CEO of Wealth Management Solutions, the Global Head of AWM Strategy, and the CEO of Global Shares.

We are seeking a Vice President to grow the Global Shares business and address priorities critical to the Firm. The position represents an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to:

  • Drive corporate sales and growth strategy in EMEA and Asia, by supporting business development along with Global Shares and the JP Morgan lines of business
    • Identify and drive corporate sales for Global Shares based on JPM EMEA, Asia relationships (across Corporate & Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, and Private Bank)
    • Partner with Global Shares to identify and drive leads and prospects from Global Shares to the JPM Private Bank
  • Develop solutions to scale the business model and product offering in target markets
  • Own and drive workstreams in partnership with target markets in EMEA, and lead stakeholder interactions independently
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders across the firm
  • Communicate regularly with senior management (e.g., market, sales and business development updates)

Qualifications:

Specific capabilities required for the position include:

  • Experience within the firm or with a premier strategy consulting firm or internal strategy consulting / corporate strategy team
  • Demonstrated experience with consulting toolkit or a broad range of analytical tools and problem-solving approaches
  • Proven abilities to
    • Own and drive structured problem-solving to address top strategic priorities for Global Shares, including innovation to refine the business model
    • Provide executive updates to senior leaders and across the organization
    • Own and drive project workstreams, and lead stakeholder interactions
    • Quickly build relationships and influence colleagues, business leaders, and functional partners
  • Strong team player with ability to work with leaders at all levels of the organization
  • MBA or an advanced business degree from a top-tier program preferred
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Understanding of JPM is beneficial
