You are an energetic and highly motivated strategic thinker, passionate about driving solutions as a Business Manager. You have found the right team.

You will support the EU region along with the OC-2 MDs located in the region. You will partner closely with other business managers regionally and globally across the Sales & Marketing franchise and other functions including but not limited to Legal & Compliance, Controllers/ Finance, Operations and Technology, etc. to define and drive the business agenda.

Job responsibilities:

Drive strategy and boost growth:

  • Act as trusted advisor and counterweight to Business Heads and their management team. Provide management assistance, for instance by convening business reviews and management meetings
  • Ensure delivery of business initiatives and projects - provide overall governance across multiple initiative and align front office teams and support groups (Fin, Tech, Ops, Legal, HR) to business priorities

Manage business risks and support the control environment:

  • Help manage the regulatory change impacting business (e.g., Dodd Frank, QFC, MiFID II, NCMR, Reg K etc.)
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives by supporting regional and cross-business partnerships

Optimize business performance and planning:

  • Lead annual business budget process (in conjunction with Planning and Analysis)
  • Oversee investment/productivity initiatives across the end-to-end business to achieve multi-year targets
  • Oversight for real estate needs and space planning as required

Required skills, abilities and experience

  • Experience in a related business function: Business Management (Sales, Banking or Trading) or COO functions is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Understanding of the business & regulatory landscape
  • Equipped with strategic and project coordination skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, data management and analytics (e.g. data modelling)
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Highly motivated with excellent time management & prioritization skills
