Our global Quality Governance Oversight organisation is part of Private Banking Operations. It consists of three teams which support Credit Middle Office organisation: The Quality Control team implements effective compensating controls for high-risk manual processes, the Change governance team provides critical support to reduce risk, increase efficiency and enable strong audit performance. The Business oversight team executes and refines existing Credit Middle Office (CMO) management and risk metric reporting, system access controls, assist with various financial regulatory reports, policies and procedures.

As a Quality Control Associate, you will completedaily credit documentation quality review, facilitating cross functional meetings, providing guidance and consultation to data owners, and working collaboratively with stakeholders and management to ensure quality performance is monitored, communicated and implemented in accordance with firm policies and standard operating procedures. Job Responsibilities:

  • Audit and perform quality review of internally and externally drafted credit documentation for multiple markets in English, French, Italian and Spanish
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and development of the quality program and engineer process changes when needed
  • Provide general assistance to data owners and approvers
  • Interpret firm policies and compliance requirements for incorporation into company systems/procedures
  • Participate as required to meet schedules or resolve problems at peer level
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by management which may include assistance with process transfers, partner communications, maintenance of quality agreements

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Previous experience within a financial institution in legal documentation, audit, and/or experience in reviewing and checking credit/loan documentation to ensure accuracy and quality of documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills and good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to add value rather than just accept the status-quo
  • Proficient in English and French or Italian

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • A Law or Finance degree or relevant professional qualification would be desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of credit related legal risks and mortgage product knowledge
  • Familiarity with modern data science, analytic tools and programming languages, such as Alteryx, Python, Tableau and UiPath
  • Fluency other languages such as Italian and/or Spanish would be advantageous
