Travel Advisor – Out of Hours - Frosch (CTJ)

Example shift - Sun 8am-6pm, Mon 6pm-4am, Tues 6pm-3am, Fri 6pm- 4am) - please only apply if you can work these times

As a VIP After Hours Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the travel reservations of clients from their initial request to completion. This will include arranging all elements of travel such as coordinating airline, hotel, car rental, and other travel needs. You will work on a collaborative team that will demand the highest level of customer service. In this role, you will utilise your travel advisor skills, build relationships with clients, and act as a consultant for all aspects of their travel needs. Candidates must be willing to work schedules during our operating hours, which may include evenings and weekends

Job Responsibilities

• Managing clients’ travel reservations from initial request to completion; this includes coordinating airline, hotel, car rental, rail and other travel needs for clients
• Process cancellations, alterations, and informing customers when a flight has been delayed or cancelled
• Utilise proprietary and authorised vendor technologies to manage client profiles, documents, policies, unused ticket management, compliance, and savings documentation
• Communicate operating standards, protocols, and core values to suppliers and clients appointed to specific arrangements
• Listen and guide conversations with customers to resolve problems in a timely manner in any circumstance and provide best in class customer service
• Participate in operational projects, training and functions as appointed by a manager or team lead
• Project positive attitude with high energy, diplomacy, and creativity in work strategies
• Develop relationships with clients to improve the overall service level and be responsive to client's needs by issuing resolutions with excellent communication and follow-up

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Strong recent experience as a Corporate Travel Consultant/Agent or solid experience within an equivalent position is required
• Solid experience of full functional use with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre is required
• Ability to use GDS to execute seat assignments and upgrades, and create and send itineraries, ticketing, exchanges, refunds, queue sorting, MCOs, Amtrak tickets, and Phase IVs is required
• Extensive expertise of domestic and international airports and cities, as well as their inherent logistics as it relates to business/corporate travel is required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment under stringent deadlines with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to adapt to change as needed
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Work Environment

• FROSCH covers the cost of most work-related equipment for onsite employees. Other tools, unless deemed essential for your job or medically necessary, may not be covered.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

• Prior experience managing and completing travel arrangements during After-Hours shifts
• Recent, native proficiency in Sabre and/or Apollo with the ability to schedule international and domestic travel, set up PNRs, ticket, and exchange tickets
