Collateral Services Operations is a rapidly growing area offering a wide variety of Collateral based products to a varied client base, ranging from the Broker Dealer groups to Hedge Funds to Global Fund Managers. Our products are constantly developing in line with new business opportunities.

As Securities Collateral Management Operations Associate you will support two main products: Securities Lending Escrow (SLE) and Tri Party Repo (TPR). You will accurately manage client accounts and collateral allocation, liaise directly with clients whilst adhering to strict market deadlines and internal controls. You will also ensure timely collateralization of client accounts.

Job responsibilities

  • Verifies free of payment and cash transactions within market deadlines
  • Verifies Operations control checks via Operations Task Manager, ensuring all key control checks are completed accurately and within a timely manner
  • Manages a team of CSRs ensuring the team are provided the opportunity to develop in their roles
  • Ensures regular one to ones are completed and training plans are maintained and constantly reviewed
  • Maintains strong relationships with Client Service teams and ensures any client issues are escalated in a timely manner
  • Partners with Middle Office and Client Service teams to ensure Client’s receive exceptional service
  • Actively participates in weekly Governance meetings, ensuring all Operations metrics are reviewed and any issues highlighted
  • Participates in Operations Manual processing reviews and identifies opportunities to reduce the number of manual tasks completed by the Global Tri-Party teams
  • Escalates contact for the Tri-Party Operations Team
  • Participates in Client Due Diligence meetings and service calls

  • Flexible approach to working hours and overtime is key, including UK bank holidays and occasional weekend work (The Tri-Party Operations team provides a service to our clients across European working hours, covering 9:00am-6:30pm and is also required to work UK Bank Holidays as governed by client requirements. Cover may be provided via rotational shifts.)
