We are looking for aJunior Java Backend Developer that will take pride in creating the very best bite sized entertainment for millions of players worldwide.
Your role within our Kingdom
The marketing engineering team is responsible for building complex, high-scale, real-time systems, working closely with other parts of the business to support the marketing activities for our popular games. We are looking for a junior developer with some practical experience, and the drive and enthusiasm to succeed in a demanding and professional team environment.
Together with your team you will be designing, architecting, testing and implementing features in our core services. With the support of your team you should be able to deliver high quality and well-structured code.
Skills to create thrills
You have a great passion for programming and pursue quality and a polished finish in your daily work. As a developer you are also analytical and genuinely interested in understanding how things work. You must be a team player, willing to integrate into a fast paced, demanding yet fun professional environment.
Strong Computer Science fundamentals and Object Oriented knowledge, interested in design patterns.
You feel comfortable with Java, databases and web development in general.
No stranger to web protocols, application servers and web servers.
You have some familiarity with UNIX environments and shell scripting.
Hunger for knowledge and openness to learn.
Know how to write testable code and follow clean coding principles.
You have some knowledge about concurrency and scalability.
Interested in agile development.
Experience with any other programming languages, preferably C++.
