About the Role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Team Leader who will lead our Bournemouth and Birmingham audit teams.

Therefore we are open to hear from candidates in either of these locations.

Leading a team of audit consultants whose purpose is to help protect and enhance LVGI Claims, supplier and crime prevention value by providing risk based and objective assurance, advice and insight.

About You

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

Technical

A strong commercial awareness

A strong understanding of operational risk

An understanding of risk, quality and process management frameworks

Experience of handling complex home claims

An extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements that are related to General Insurance

Communication

Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with the Claims Senior Management and

Able to present complex information clearly and concisely

Ability to be persuasive and respond objectively when challenged

Ability to listen and gather information and understand other viewpoints

Clear and objective report writing skills

Planning and Organisational

An ability to plan, prioritise and schedule audits

Flexible approach when required

Analysis

Ability to perform analysis to identify process gaps

Use objective information and data to creatively and innovatively solve problems

Leadership

Ability to lead and motivate a team, coach and develop team members

Demonstrate organisational values in how they work

Demonstrate confidentiality, independence and objectivity

The Details

To lead, manage and develop a team of audit consultants, up to 10 people

Lead team's audit plan ensuring resourcing is available to deliver against plan

Ensure team deliver quality work within appropriate timelines when performing their audit and other assurance and consultative assignments

Through time spent with team understand what barriers are driving in waste into the audit process and remove

Understand the team knowledge gaps in order to improve and develop both own and team’s audit capability.
