We're looking for a Strategic Implementation Scrum Master to join our Interactions Strategy and Implementation (IS&I) team within Analytics & Interactions. You'll be responsible for the delivery of activity across our Customer Relationship Growth workstream providing enhanced levels of personalisation in our customer communications and experiences.
Our aim is to create truly integrated, personalised customer communications around the themes that are important to our customers’ financial lives. Building richer customer experiences sits at the heart of this approach, growing customer support, relevancy & value to develop deeper customer relationships.
We have a strong culture of data-driven decision making across IS&I, and we’re looking to use the power of our customer data along with technology capabilities to improve the personalisation of communications & experiences we deliver for customers. We're looking for someone who has a solid understanding of end-to-end agile project management within multidisciplinary teams and can work with multiple partners to deliver more relevant and useful personalised messages and experiences with a brand across channels.
As a Strategic implementation Scrum Master, you'll be responsible for managing colleagues across a range of operational, marketing and business functions to develop and implement strategic initiatives. You'll do this by managing a backlog of strategic initiatives and cross-team roadmap, tracking progress, as well as managing delivery risks and dependencies. You'll need to work confidently with a range of technical and data specialists, as well as being proficient in interpreting and communicating technical requirements and outcomes to various partners.
This is a great opportunity to bring best-practice to our team that works alongside both agile and waterfall teams and get involved with developing key ways of working to ensure value is delivered and deadlines and targets are met.
Some of the activities you'll be involved in are:
Host and embed best-practice running of scrum ceremonies within our team continuously iterating ways of working to allow for efficient delivery of value.
Prioritise and co-ordinate key colleagues within the Chief Customer Office (CCO) as well as external teams to deliver against an agreed delivery roadmap, working collaboratively to continually improve ways of working efficiencies.
Work and support senior leaders to communicate the developments in personalisation, producing effective PowerPoint updates to report on progress against the agreed roadmap.
Use your understanding of the role and importance of the scrum methodology to coach and educate the team and partners we get along with across CCO to aid effective teamwork for delivery.
Be the key SME for communications personalisation within IS&I, sharing standard methodology, wider external examples, results of any test and learn and generally ensuring personalisation is leveraged to deliver highly relevant messages to customers.
We're looking for people who have the following Skills and Experience:

Highly organised and able to effectively co-ordinate a complex project plan.

You can translate technical, analytical or research projects & provide insight to a broad range of audiences.
Positively influence others by demonstrating core LBG values and behaviours.
Location and Ways of Working
Our team is geographically spread across our Bristol, Edinburgh, London and Cardiff hubs therefore ideally you'll be based in one of these locations however, we are flexible on location for the right person. Agile working arrangements are open to discussion.
