You’ll make sure we deliver a compelling product range to support our customer needs, drive sustainable commercial performance in a competitive market, and manage our risks.

What will your role involve?


This is a fast paced, multidimensional and exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to craft the way we support small business customers lending needs in an outstandingly difficult climate as our customers continue to face challenges in a post COVID environment.

While you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activity, the key expectations of the role will be to:

  • Review and lead our pricing and proposition in an increasingly competitive market

  • Provide compelling, customer-focused products and efficient processes within the end to end customer journey

  • Deliver against our lending strategy, ensuring we meet customer needs and delivering against financial objectives.

  • Ensure we can offer the products and services customers need using their channel of choice both at the point of sale and throughout the lifecycle of the product

  • Proactively support our regulatory objectives by identifying and supervising our risks.

This position is covering Maternity Leave until Oct 2023.

We're open to applicants from all sites and our team is widely distributed across the country with team mates in London, Birmingham and Bristol. As a team we follow a hybrid working model, combining working from home with working in the office.

Essential Skills:

  • Analyse key themes and trends using data from several sources and identify potential impacts on customers, commercial outcomes or our risk profile

  • Identifies and evaluates sophisticated expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet customer and business needs

  • Develops and delivers initiatives by building relationships with and influencing a wide variety of partners including Finance, Risk, Legal, Credit & Distribution

  • Ability to distil complex information and present in a succinct and clear format through both written and oral presentation

  • Grows own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities working within existing development framework
