Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available in Risk Reporting which forms part of the Enterprise Risk Management team within CORSO in Risk Division.

This role provides an outstanding opportunity to gain a broad knowledge of the risk profile of the Group, play a pivotal role in the production of key risk reporting materials as well as regular interaction with a wide-range of senior stakeholders.

The primary purpose of this role is to support delivery of the Consolidated Risk Report (CRR) including the calculation and production of Board Risk Appetite metrics, plus other internal risk reports.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team’s vision to deepen insight and analysis across the Group’s risk profile by undertaking deep dive reviews on a wide range of risk topics.
  • Coordinate the CRR for Risk Division Executive Committee, Group Risk Committee and Board Risk Committee.
  • Calculate risk appetite metrics, monitor portfolio performance and apply judgement to determine points for escalation across Group and RFB entities.
  • Identify, articulate and effectively communicate complex issues to a broad range of audiences in a concise way.
  • Support the embedding of change initiatives in line with Group and regulatory requirements.

Skills

  • You'll be great at establishing effective working relationships and collaborating effectively.
  • Attention to detail is key. You'll be comfortable reviewing and questioning data and text to produce accurate and concise outputs.
  • An understanding of risk types and the Group Risk Management Framework.
  • Strong Excel skills, ability to manipulate data and produce charts, pivot tables etc.
  • Storytelling, transferring numerical & data insight into compelling insight that can drive action and results.
  • Prior experience of building interactive dashboards, using insight and data visualisation tools and working with high volumes of data and automating production is required.
  • A detailed knowledge of the One RCSA system and the Business Objects reporting tool would be beneficial.
