Are you an innovative and collaborative strategy consultant with asset management experience and looking to hone your skills in a diverse, rapidly growing business environment? This is the role for you.

Macquarie Asset Management’s Strategic Solutions division provides Macquarie Asset Management’s clients with better investment solutions by thinking about ‘their needs’ rather than ‘our products’. This growing Division works with all Macquarie Asset Management’s Divisions to evolve and extend MAM’s client offering. Strategic Solutions is responsible for (a) the establishment, execution and communication of MAM’s global strategy, with a focus on inorganic opportunities and (b) extending the scope of MAM’s offering by delivering newer capabilities such as wealth solutions, secondaries products that provide much needed liquidity to alternatives investors and a range of insurance-based solutions. Macquarie Asset Management and Strategic Solutions continue to pursue additional opportunities to best service all our clients and attract new ones.

Within Strategic Solutions, the Corporate Development and Strategy (CD&S) team develops and communicates Macquarie Asset Management’s strategy, and drives execution of that strategy via inorganic action and organic growth or transformation initiatives. This small team offers significant personal and professional development opportunity; working with a high calibre team that fosters the full suite of strategy, analysis, M&A, partnership and transformation execution insights and skills. The role offers long term career progression within CD&S or as a springboard into other MAM businesses.

This is both a strategy role and a delivery role. The candidate will actively be involved in setting the strategy and direction of MAM working with the Head of MAM and leadership of Macquarie Group. The role is also an implementation role. The candidate should be prepared to be able to act on their ideas and vision and to get involved in acquisitions, restructurings, capability development and new product launches to bring their ideas and strategy to life.
