The team

In Group Treasury, you will work in the financial center of Macquarie and contribute to driving real change for our businesses. The team is responsible for managing the funding, capital and liquidity position of the bank and is challenging the status quo to evolve the future of finance at Macquarie.

Our rapidly evolving function is not afraid to ask, ‘how can we do better’ and sees solutions where other obstacles. The team collaborates and is generous in sharing skills, knowledge and expertise, so that great outcomes can be achieved together.

The Opportunity

Make an impact on a long-term, business-critical project, crucial to maintaining Macquarie’s strong, conservative balance sheet. Supported by new data architecture and technology, the program is tasked with transforming the end-to-end capital and liquidity process from the operating model and system-landscape to the relevant calculation and reporting frameworks.

Work with a broad range of stakeholders and get group-wide exposure as you play a key role in ensuring funding and liquidity is appropriately managed at Macquarie. You will utilise your quantitative and qualitative skillsets and continue to develop analytical and modellings skills to add value to the business.

About you

You are an exceptional problem-solver who has the capacity to communicate with stakeholders of varying levels. Strong analytical skills and a curiosity to investigate data will allow you to challenge the status quo. You will also have previous experience in a treasury or risk reporting function and an understanding of accounting concepts and principles. A working knowledge of data and data visualisations tools is highly valued.
