Join our Green Investment Group as a highly motivated and impactful Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for Fleete Group Ltd (Fleete), our dedicated EV infrastructure business. This is a London based role with an initial Europe wide remit and potential to expand to other regions dependent upon success and performance. Reporting to the Fleete CEO you will initially be an employee of the Green Investment Group (GIG) and transfer in to the Fleete business. Throughout this period you will be responsible for establishing and leading high performing commercial teams tasked with delivering electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects and services, to both public and private sector B2B clients, across Europe.

Reporting to the CEO, you will ultimately be responsible for the commercial success and performance of Fleete and for driving growth in markets across Europe. You will be a key member of the senior leadership team (c-suite) tasked with building long-term strategies and teams capable of delivering across core functions such as product and service development, sales, commercial contract negotiation and management, infrastructure project development and marketing.

In your role as CCO, you will interface with wider internal teams, clients, partners, suppliers and consultancies and will be expected to be an ambassador for the business during any external engagement. You will be responsible for the development of infrastructure projects through to final investment decision (FID), managing relationships at the highest and more senior levels, contractual sign-off for various commercial projects and initiatives and for providing guidance and leadership to direct reports and colleagues more widely. You will take a data led approach to defining KPIs and measuring performance of your teams and business activities and communicate this through regular, high-quality reporting. You will take a hands-on approach to generating leads and closing deals whilst ensuring that all governance and safe-guards are met. As CCO, you will be highly motivated to innovate and explore new value pools by constantly considering new services and propositions. This will require close working with the CEO and wider c-suite.

For success in this role, you will have significant experience of building and leading successful commercial teams and businesses. You will have a strong track record of securing multi-million pound contracts from both the private and public sector and through direct contracts and competitive tenders. You will be capable of structuring and negotiating complex commercial deals and have experience of building and managing relationships at the most senior levels. Importantly, you will have experience of infrastructure project development and a sound working knowledge of project finance and developing robust investment cases (through FID). The successful candidate is expected to have significant experience in e-mobility fleets, infrastructure and services sector. Experience of working in the energy sector and large infrastructure projects (renewables, storage or electric vehicles) for both public and private sector clients is also welcome.

Ideally, you will have experience of working in European markets and associated language skills are highly regarded.
