Regulatory Risk – Compliance Systems & Data Associate/Analyst
Location: County Dublin, Greater London
Job Type: Full time
An excellent opportunity to begin your career, in an exciting and challenging role, within our EMEA Regulatory Risk team, assisting the team to translate compliance requirements into technical solutions.
Your specific remit will involve working with the broader Compliance team in the region to collate and present data in a manner that allows Compliance stakeholders to effectively visualise and manage the Compliance risk. Additionally, you will work to simply existing processes through technological enhancements.
Key aspects of your role will require you to work closely with the Regulatory Risk team and the Country Compliance staff where Macquarie has a regulatory presence within EMEA outside of the UK. You will also be expected to engage with Technology and RMG wide data support teams to leverage their work and apply some of these solutions to the EMEA compliance processes and needs.
You will need a strong interest in taking large volumes of data and other information and using your insight combined with the technology and tools at Macquarie (such as PowerBI and Alteryx) to make the data easy to digest, manipulate and present. You will also need an ability to come up with creative solutions to reduce the manual touch point on existing data driven processes so the Compliance staff can quickly see findings, trends and/or risk areas. You may also work on some routine Compliance tasks.
You are a highly organised individual with strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. You will need a degree in systems or data related fields or associated speciality.
