Client Operations - Client Onboarding and Data Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Client Operations function as a client onboarding and data analyst, within the Central division of Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets group.
As a dedicated business partner, you will provide concierge style support to CGM's staff, to execute and oversee effective and efficient onboarding and maintenance practices. You will be required to rapidly build and maintain credible relationships with stakeholders and be client centric in all that you do.
You will be joining a high performing and accountable team and engage with end to end stakeholders, including clients, business, operations and various support and risk groups. Your key deliverables will include operational oversight for Know Your Customer (KYC) controls, data mining and uplift to connect customer data mastered by operations with our business owners for refresh processes, periodic reporting to operational and management forums, and execution of relevant change initiatives to uplift and streamline client operational processes.
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 5 years of Know Your Customer (KYC) / Client Lifecycle Maintenance (CLM) experience gained in a financial services, consulting or vendor environment. Your extensive knowledge of onboarding policies and jurisdictional relevant collection and verification practices will be critical for this role. You will be proficient working with multiple client data sets, mastered in various source systems, to deliver on business, compliance and KYC outcomes. You will have excellent communication skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and strong organisational and project management skills.
Data analytics, data and process automation, and basic coding or advanced reporting capabilities such as Alteryx, PowerBI or Dataiku would be advantageous.
