As the Healthcare Built Environment Capital Projects Director you will be responsible for helping us develop and deliver major capital construction healthcare projects & programmes across the UK leading to us being recognised by clients and our peers as the market leader in this area. Your leadership will reflect our culture and our values, driving forward our Purpose with a focus on positive social outcomes.

What you will contribute to the team;

  • Drive the growth and nurturing of key client and partner relationships and to influence and impact the growth and direction of our Programme Management offering

  • Lead major capital projects & programmes of work from the front and build and lead high performing team for the delivery of major projects and programmes.

  • Establish and nurture an innovative, challenging, collaborative and high performing work environment, which supports and fosters the Mott MacDonald values and culture

  • Lead by example with good people management skills, be team-oriented with the ability to work closely with peers and have the ability to motivate and empower individuals and teams.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across Mott MacDonald, acting as an exemplar role model and ambassador for Mott MacDonald internally and externally, develop strong and robust relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Identify and develop key accounts within Mott MacDonald in response to organisational needs and Mott MacDonald strategy.

  • Identify opportunities, converting them into firm prospects.

  • Lead our bidding process, converting prospects into projects whilst ensuring bids are technically and commercially sound.

  • Be accountable for risk and technical and commercial performance on projects and client Accounts within your sector.

  • Seek new opportunities to integrate broader Mott MacDonald offerings into that Client Account.

  • Work effectively with Sector/Practice Leaders to bring the right resources to deliver the project to client's satisfaction.

  • Lead account meetings with your client and seek senior level management involvement where appropriate.

  • Report management information into monthly senior leadership meetings.

  • Demonstrate visible and inspiring leadership.

  • Engage directly in the delivery of projects and programmes.

  • Ensure robust technical leadership is in place to manage the quality of deliverables and to support the progression and development of colleague
