We are seeking a Civil Engineer based in the Southwest to help lead the delivery of sustainable infrastructure projects for a diverse range of clients around the UK. Designers for National Grid's 68km Hinkley Connection including new T Pylons in this part overhead and part buried new 400kV connection.

Newquay Strategic Route - technical assurance and quality management for Cornwall County Council
Bristol City Council youth zone development junction improvements and access.
Active travel improvement schemes including providing off road cycling infrastructure along the A38 for Sustrans.
Congestion relief for the A31/A331 junctions working for Guildford and Sussex County Council.
Innovative projects looking at the concepts for fully autonomous zero carbon public transport allowing road space within our streets to be reallocated for community and commercial use.
Delivering highway improvements to improve air quality in Coventry by reducing the environmental impacts of traffic congestion on air quality and local communities.
What you will contribute to the team
You will help our highly skilled and customer-focused team to grow in response to an increasing number of secured and potential future infrastructure opportunities in the local and national highways sector markets. The role will be challenging, demanding, varied, and offer fantastic opportunities for skill set and career development. We are seeking Engineers with experience of infrastructure design and delivery from concept design through construction to operations or maintenance or people with a demonstrable level of experience in designing urban spaces and streets for the movement of people and goods with a passion for a new challenge in a multi-disciplinary environment. We want candidates with a passion for sustainable transport, people, communities and a relentless curiosity for collaboration and innovation.

Required for the position of Civil Engineer

The candidate will be able to demonstrate practical skills in the following areas:

Proven experience in the delivery of projects across multi-disciplines (from bidding stage through to delivery against contracted cost and programme).
Excellent communication skills (good verbal, written and presentation skills) and confident in Client facing roles.
Previous experience of working on UK public sector highways / infrastructure projects.
Experience in highway design with competence to independently check and approve the work of others (knowledge of key design standards and guidance
Experience of using Digital Design Tools for production of deliverables including BIM.
