The role will be in the growing project management office of our Northern division providing commercially focused project management services to support our technical delivery teams across a range of projects, varying in scale and complexity, and covering the transport, built environment, advisory and water sectors.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Project Controller/Senior Project Controller with the willingness to learn all aspects of the project control function & manage and lead a small team of Project Controllers. You will provide support to the project controls team for change management and be required to work independently applying template commercial controls to small-medium projects. You will manage the flow of incoming and outgoing information on construction related projects so you will have an eye for detail, be a keen problem solver and be able to follow tasks through to completion. Training and supervision provided.

Required for the position of Project Controller/Senior Project Controller:

  • Desire to follow a structured training programme and work towards a professional qualification.
  • Previous PMO Experience
  • Educated to tertiary level or equivalent relevant experience in lieu
  • Good interpersonal skills and be a confident communicator
  • Good IT skills, MS Excel
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, able to use own initiative to organise and prioritise tasks
  • Team Leading skills
