People Systems Analyst - Talent Acquisition

As part of the Group People Systems team, this role works with the team of product specialists responsible for supporting and enhancing the global talent acquisition and onboarding systems. This role contributes to the design, development and delivery of our talent acquisition systems, helping to define the future roadmap and strategy for our TA and onboarding technology.

The role will work closely with people systems colleagues across Core HR (Employee Central), Talent Development, Reporting and Analytics and System Management to ensure the overall people systems team is delivering efficiently and driving continuous improvement.

In this role we also look for you to build strong relationships with the talent acquisition community themselves to gain a better understanding of their roles and what they need to achieve. Previous experience in a recruitment background is beneficial to this.

We're looking for a senior systems analyst to assist in leading our team for a maternity cover contract (1+ years), with a hand over period on both sides of the contract. The role is ideally located in Croydon, UK. Our global People Systems teams consists of 36 people with this role being focussed on our talent acquisition technologies. We have a specialist team of 4 that supports the recruitment of thousands of people each year and sit in the UK (Croydon) and Canada (Toronto). Due to the nature of being part of a global team this role does at times require flexibility in working hours (i.e. early morning, late night calls). Work/life balance will be supported accordingly.

What you will contribute to the team;

  • Assist in leading and supporting technology implementation and embed our recruiting and onboarding modules across the business
  • Document and communicate changes to current and new processes, and provide training as required
  • Work alongside fellow People Systems and TA colleagues to define strategy and roadmap development, taking a strategic, long term and commercial view
  • Using networks and technical learning to keep up to date with innovations and trends in the HR technology sector
  • Contribute to the People Systems (talent acquisition and onboarding) strategic road map and ensure the team are helping solve business challenges to ensure that optimum user experience is considered in everything we do
  • Strategic partnering with management teams across the business, providing suggested solutions to enable efficient delivery of strategic goals
  • Ensure the firm's investment in our global HR platforms is maximised, by identifying opportunities for optimisation and ensuring that these are delivered globally
  • Product ownership of SAP Success Factors Recruiting and Onboarding modules
  • Oversight of other talent acquisition technologies (Infinite BrassRing, Broadbean, LinkedIn Enterprise)
  • Managing the planning and delivery requirements of ongoing system releases for the talent acquisition workstream
  • Ensuring that data governance and security processes and requirements are followed and in place
  • Engaging with the systems strategy team to ensure effective delivery of development requirements and ongoing project delivery tasks within the above systems
  • Act as a point of technical escalation for the support team to unblock obstacles for operational team leads
  • Building collaborative relationships with the People Systems team, TA teams and other key stakeholders within the business
  • Collaborating with fellow people systems colleagues to achieve successful project outcomes and establish system roadmap planning.

Our key deliverable for 2023/2024 is a transition from our current ATS to a new HCM SAP SuccessFactors which includes a recruiting and onboarding module. In the pipeline we have projects relating to enhancements to our careers website; integrations between different systems; data privacy, governance and compliance.

Candidate Specification :

What we're looking for in your application:

  • Previous implementation experience, through design, test, deploy and embedding(essential)
  • Experience working with and configuring SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting (essential),
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0, Employee Central and/or other SuccessFactors modules (highly desirable)
  • Experience with other talent acquisition technology e.g., LinkedIn, Beamery, Interview scheduling tools, assessments
  • Experience working on technology projects from designing, testing and delivery
  • Experience working with different teams, and understanding their goals and challenges
  • Good knowledge of best practices around HR processes, especially as it relates to recruitment
  • Good knowledge about data privacy including GDPR and information security
  • Experience communicating changes to different stakeholders including talent acquisition teams (essential)
We'd also love to see some of the following, but it isn't essential:
  • Experience working with Infinite BrassRing (ATS)
  • Experience with DocuSign
  • Experience working with API and setting up system integrations
  • Experience working on careers website projects and using a content management system (CMS)
  • Experience writing test cases and participating in test execution using Jira and TestRail
  • Experience managing data and report requests, including advanced use of Excel
  • Experience decommisioning systems
