Joining IT Consumer

The IT Consumer and Commercial team plays a critical role in delivering PMI’s Smoke-Free Future. We are enabling digital services to our consumers and retailers by building platforms to communicate our vision to broader society. Together with talent from multiple business and technology functions across our footprint, we are delivering a premium experience for our consumers.

When you join this team, you will work in a dynamic, diverse and warm environment. You will be exposed to all stages of software delivery in a team combining experts across multiple fields from Project & Portfolio Management through to Architecture, Solution Management and DevSecOps.

Technical Lead IT B2B Retail Engagement

To commercialise and expand our reduced risks products, we are building and rolling out global platforms. Amongst these, our retailer engagement platform aims to provide the best experience to the end-to-end retail journey, from onboarding, training, commerce and after sales, through multiple engagement channels, across our markets worldwide.

You will be collaborating with multiple product development teams, supporting system and data design, in line with new or improved capability requirements together with ensuring that platform’s non-functional requirements, such as scalability, performance, or extensibility, are met.

Your ‘day to day’

As a Technical Lead, you will collaborate with our solution managers supporting them with solution design and hands-on code review vs. non-functional requirements. You will contribute to user requirements triage and evaluation while identifying opportunities for optimisations and test automation, as well as troubleshooting.

Where we See This Role Going

You will have a strong focus on products’ technical quality down to code level, while understanding and translating business requirements into technical solutions by following standard and best practices and ensuring scalability and flexibility. This will require collaborating with various cross-functional agile teams, and seek consensus within different parties, including business.

Who are you?
  • University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 4+ year experience working with Salesforce products including Force.com, MuleSoft and managed packages. Experience with Consumer Good Cloud, Salesforce Maps and Field Service Lightning is a plus
  • Experience as a lead developer on Salesforce products. Experience in integration and deployment of Salesforce products is a plus
  • Hands on experience in Lighting Web Components, Salesforce Flow and Apex development is a must have. JavaScript/Python knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in designing end-to-end solutions and ability to properly link business processes, data flows and system functionalities. Experience in architecting such solutions is a plus
  • Experience on Amazon Web hosting components a plus
  • A strong orientation toward problem solving and dealing with ambiguity amidst multiple priorities
  • Stakeholder management experience and excellent communication skills
  • Project Management and/or Lean/Agile tools expertise highly desirable
  • Prioritisation skills to effectively organise delivery of multiple tasks with challenging deadlines
  • Autonomous in defining objectives and driving execution with minimal guidance
  • Passion for continuous learning in an ever-changing environment
  • Consumer-centric approach and mindset
  • A collaborative approach, comfortable with all types of external and internal partners
