General Summary:

We are looking for an integration developer to create and maintain software integrations across various platforms for one of the world's largest auto BU. This role involves determining, planning, architecting and executing integration strategies, creating tools for other developers, monitoring, and maintaining systems, as well as optimizing them.

This role will be based in Germany or United Kingdom (UK)

About the role

Responsibilities we'll trust you with:

  • Conception, design, and development of interfaces and integration architectures.

  • Managing data analysis and integration of disparate systems.

  • Working with Analysts and Business Users to convert specifications into technical designs.

  • Building intensive data acquisition and integration solutions in line with business requirements.

  • Coordinating activities with other developers to ensure that integration projects are completed on time.

  • Formulating strategies and designing architectures for systems integrations.

  • Ensuring that best practices in integration processes are followed by the organization.

  • Maintaining the integrity and smooth functioning of the company's integration architecture.

  • Analyzing and improving current system integrations and migration strategies.

  • Keeps abreast of current technology trends and familiar with application development best practices.

  • Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision or direction.

  • Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the needs of the business.

  • Experience in working in a DevOps environment.

  • Experience working in an agile development environment.

  • Ensure Code quality and participate in the code review meetings.

What we are looking for:

  • Should have 10-12years of work experience.

  • Full stack application development with Angular, React, Java/Java EE , Python, Node JS & NoSQL technologies.

  • Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

  • Knowledge of integration concepts and patterns – e.g. XML Schemas, SOAP, WS specifications.

  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Node.js.

  • Proficiency with server-side languages such as Java and Python.

  • Expertise in at least one popular Java framework (like Spring etc).

  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills .

  • Familiar with Agile Scrum Methodology.

  • Planning and executing project development phase.

  • Hands-on experience using DevOps tools – e.g. Git, CICD, Jenkins, Bitbucket.

  • Expertise in managing Cloud / VMWare resources and good exposure on Dockers.

  • Familiar with application development best practices.

Additional qualifications

  • Certifications in relevant tools & technologies.

How to stand out from the crowd:

  • A major plus is experience in the Automotive industry and the related SW development eco-system therein

  • Experience in handling operations role to lead delivery for Tier3 level of support and especially process enhancements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
    Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
    PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

  • 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
