As a Data Analyst, you will be working to support project delivery as part of a wider system project delivery team. This role will cover updates to the data model, modelling logical data structures, developing related data flows and data structures, and developing data integrations between systems

As Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and documenting complex scripts and data integration services to support the delivery of business system capabilities
  • Ensuring technical solutions support the accessibility, retrievability, security, quality, and retention of data
  • Examining data requirements and applying data analysis, design, modelling and quality assurance techniques to modify or maintain data structures
  • Assisting with troubleshooting data issues, validating result sets, recommending, and implementing process improvements
  • Developing an effective working relationship with members of the wider systems team
  • Ensuring that agreed standards and tools are utilised to achieve well-engineered outcomes, including incorporating monitoring and logging functionality into the data platform

What we need from you

  • Experience as a Data Analyst with excellent knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working with ETL pipelines
  • Good knowledge of best practises for data management
  • Confident working with the wider business to understand data requirements and recommend solutions
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of data analysis, data modelling and quality assurance techniques
  • Possess the ability to work autonomously and with others
  • Good organisational skills
