As an Internal Account Manager, you will be aiding Anup to deliver excellent customer service, maximize GP and offer a great client experience to his accounts as well as identifying and growing opportunities for new business lines within existing accounts and new customers. You will form a leading role in covering any annual leave or meeting cover.

As Internal Account Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Account management and business development; regular customer contact; understanding strategy leading to project-based work
  • Supporting account team with business line penetration
  • Ability to identify opportunities where extra margin can be made & proactively focus on making more GP - examples include but not limited to; bidding anything that can be & pushing back on distribution for lower buy prices etc. without being prompted
  • Attend customer meetings / events
  • Proactively seeking new contacts and building relationships in both trading and non-trading accounts

What we need from you

  • Excellent communicator
  • Previous experience in the IT channel industry
  • Motivation to identify opportunities & close business
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships – with customers and partners
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet expectations for fast turn-around times
