Join our Vendor Alliances Team

The Vendor Alliance team is responsible for the day-to-day relationship, management and engagement of a select number of Softcat's top vendor partners. Working to enable Softcat, they plan and execute against joint business objectives to drive mutual growth. The team is now forty strong and growing, spanning all Softcat locations, providing a service to every function within the organisation. The Vendor Alliance team is fundamental to providing Softcat with the expertise, resource, and relationship base that allows continuous growth from one of our key vendors.

Provide support to our Microsoft Surface Business

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Digital Workplace Alliance Manager. You will be providing support on the day to day activity of the Surface business ensuring sales and their customer are educated on the Surface messaging and capabilities.

As a Microsoft Surface Business Executive, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing the Microsoft Surface queries from Sales and building up a good understanding of the Surface pricing programs
  • Developing a strong knowledge base of the Surface portfolio and updating and supporting Sales
  • Collaborating with Softcat and Microsoft team to build out Surface and Sustainability for our customers
  • Proactive approach to identify pricing or stock changes and supporting the management of the relationship between Softcat and distribution
  • Managing the pipeline proactively and sharing the latest promotions from Microsoft with the Sales teams
  • Liaising with Softcat Account managers and Microsoft Surface Account Managers to utilise a co-sell opportunity

  • A passion for technology and how it can enable businesses
  • The proactivity to take ownership of your own business area
  • Previous experience in a customer centric role is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple business areas
  • Be able to work on own initiative as well as part of the team
