Softcat is embarking on a multi-year Sales system transformation programme, and we are currently in the Discovery stage.
The role of Senior Test Analyst is a vital position, and the successful candidate will have a pivotal role in all systems deliveries with the chance to make a significant impact on the quality of our output.
As Senior Test Analyst, you'll be responsible for:
- Creating, reviewing, and executing test plans and Scripts for Functional Testing; both manual and automated.
- Reviewing and analysing technical/functional specifications and user stories to drive out test scripts & steps.
- Working closely with Developers, Technical Product Owners, Business Analysts to create & execute test plans.
- Managing risks and issues raised during test execution.
We'd love you to have
- Demonstrable experience in a software testing role.
- Experience of test execution (manual or automated) and analysis of results.
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle including agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Working experience of test and defect management tools, ideally ALM, Jira, Zephyr.
- Experience testing large scale enterprise systems, ERP/CRM/ITSM.
