Description of role:
The Senior Underwater lecturer will provide training to various individuals within the diving and inspection industries up to the level of 3.4U. This includes both face-face classroom environments as well as online delivery. The role will also encompass the production of training and examination materials both in written and also online electronic formats in accordance with the scheme document requirements, so it is essential that the successful applicant has knowledge in the production of materials including eLearning platforms (Articulate) to help steer training and examination materials with the applicant preferably educated to degree level in a relevant engineering field.
The successful applicant will hold current CSWIP diving certificates and significant experience within a similar diving training industry as well as IMCA registration and ADC diving supervisor qualification.
The role is team oriented and it is expected that the successful applicant will take a lead in supporting both the programme manager and other team members in the section and the wider training and examinations team and its initiatives.
This position may require regular travel both in the UK and abroad.
