Description of role:
TWI are a membership-based organisation, supporting companies across the world with authoritative and impartial expert advice, knowhow and safety assurance through engineering, materials and joining technologies – helping its Members design, create and operate the best products possible.
The sales of testing, consulting and R&D projects to individual TWI Members have grown modestly over the last five years. However, the Company has set down its ambition for that growth to accelerate over the next three years. To achieve this, wide range of transformation projects have been defined and are being developed. These include the:
- Improved management of our commercial contracting processes, ensuring that orders received from Members are processed expediently into contracts, in a way that manages and mitigates commercial risk, and provides external Member clients, as well as internal Technology Group clients, with a smooth and timely customer experience.
- Improved provision of business insight, generating internal and external data to inform business and commercial decision making by the Technology Leadership Team and Executive Board for the optimisation of Technology Group business performance.
This position may require occasional travel in the UK.
