Description of role:
We are looking for an Internal Communications Apprentice to join our People & Culture team as an Apprentice. You will be working as part of a collaborative team to support the planning, delivery and measurement of internal communications to bring TWI’s strategy and purpose to life.
The candidate will need to develop and implement internal communications materials to support our People & Culture function as well as other sections and groups within the business, such as email communications and business updates.
To act as a business partner for the key areas to improve employee engagement and develop a culture of collaboration and awareness across the organisation including Diversity, Equality & Inclusion topics. Respond to ad hoc internal requests for internal communications support.
Travel:
This position will require occasional travel in the UK to our head office in Cambridge.

If this position is to be based in our Port Talbot office it will be part of an initiative known as AEMRI (Advanced Engineering Materials Research Institute), which is funded by the Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) using European Regional Development Funds (ERDF). If this position is to be based in our Middlesbrough office it will part of an initiative known as Centre for Materials Integrity which is part funded by the Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
