The Membership and Innovation directorate has a remit to grow the TWI membership base (Industrial and Professional) in the UK and Internationally. To support the international growth plans a senior business development role has become available.

The new business development lead will report to director of Membership and Innovation and will work closely with Industrial Membership Services (IMS), Professional Affair Group (PAG), and TWI Innovation Network to grow the membership base, and also establish new opportunities for TWI and strengthen our offering for our members.

The BDM is expected to work across industry sectors, but experience in O&G sector and understanding of technologies related to decarbonisation, hydrogen economy, and digitalisation in global markets will be advantageous.

Main duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Strengthen the International growth of Membership (Industrial and Professional) with particular focus on ME, SEA, India and China
  • Establish new international partnerships key markets to support the expansion of professional membership
  • Leverage CRP and TWI Innovation Network to identify new opportunities for TWI to bring added value for its members
  • Lead TWI technology transfer programme


This position will require travel in the UK and overseas.
