We're really excited to be hiring a Senior Product Manager who's ready to make a big impact into our Partner world. You'll be incredibly detail-focused with an ability to work with senior stakeholder to deliver initiatives that drive commercial outcomes, at pace.

We’re not prescriptive on background but here are some of the key attributes we're looking for you to bring:

  • We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate high quality product thinking and back this up with tangible experience.
  • You’ll need strong stakeholder management skills, Partner is our core acquisition channel and you’ll need to be able to justify your product thinking with data and evidence.
  • Getting into the details is key. You’ll need to really follow the problem space from start to finish - as one change could trigger off another.
  • Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves, understand what makes Partners tick and deliver products that drive value for them.

We work in small, fully autonomous teams that have real ownership of their products. We use the best tool for the job and constantly look for better.

You'll report to the Head of Product for Partner and lead the Partner Rewards & Commission Squad including Engineering, Data, Commercial & Operational people. You'll interact directly with ELT members including the Partner Director and liaise with the Partner Engagement and Services teams on a daily basis. You'll also have ample opportunity to work directly with our Partners around the UK.

At UW, our success is intertwined with the 65,000+ Partners across the country who recommend our services to their networks. Supercharging our Partner network is key to driving our double digit growth ambitions and incentivising our Partners to keep the growth momentum is critical.

As the Senior Product Manager you will lead the partner Rewards & Commissions squad, focusing on driving Partner activity via our highly unique and competitive compensation package.

The role involves a mis of doing things better (optimisation) and doing things differently (innovation). Here's the key things you'll get involved in:

  • You will be responsible for managing UW’s partner compensation program and identifying propositional changes to help achieve our business goals
  • You will be also be responsible for bringing in operational efficiencies to help drive partner confidence in the proposition
  • You will be responsible for managing UW’s partner compensation program to keep it attractive to our partners and help drive the business goals we want from our partner network
  • It’s an exciting role with a broad scope and direct bottom line impact. You’ll have the autonomy to focus where you see fit.

Some recent initiatives have included driving consistency & speed in the partner network by optimizing our compensation plan, engaging partners by showcasing what their UW business is worth to them and providing partners with visibility into their networks to enable them to support new partners who need it.
