We’re looking for a Senior Creative Services Manager to cover a period of maternity leave.

This role is the key point of contact between the creative team and their clients across Utility Warehouse. To be successful in this role you will use your strong relationship and organisational skills and creative expertise to ensure the team runs effectively and delivers high-quality work. You'll come from a creative background and have recent experience of working in-house. Here's some of the key skills and experience we are looking for you to bring:

  • Substantial experience of working in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary commercial environments, overseeing teams that deliver high-quality output;
  • Recent in-house experience is essential and you'll need to be comfortable with managing a hybrid team.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering high-impact creative projects to tight deadlines
  • Comprehensive understanding of the creative and production processes and marketing best practices.
  • Experience of project management platforms. We use Asana.
  • Respected leader with strong influencing and communication skills. You'll be able to build relationships, inspire a team and manage up and across
  • Focused and determined, unafraid to speak up and able to keep a clear head under pressure
  • Strong commercial awareness, sound judgment and analytical skills
  • Able to navigate complexity, zooming in on what’s important without getting lost in detail
  • Passionate about the quality of output and raising the bar over time- You'll focus on driving performance and efficiency and you'll have a meticulous eye for detail
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to make quick well informed decisions Openness and willingness to learn and get stuck in

Reporting to the Brand Director, you'll play a key role in the Brand & Creative team. You will be directly responsible for managing the Production Coordinator. This is a highly collaborative role, working with the whole creative team, as well as key stakeholders in the business to facilitate the delivery of high-quality creative projects for UW. You'll also liaise regularly with our freelancer population and 3rd party agencies.

As the Senior Creative Services Manager at UW you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring high-quality output and performance of the Creative team through excellent internal client service and creative resource management
  • Building productive relationships with creative team and being the key point of contact for brief owners: having a broad view of UW’s business priorities, cross-functional projects and ways of working, and being a champion of their needs as well as the creative team
  • Using your oversight of creative projects and the wider business to plan highly effective creative work, keeping us ahead of the game and solving for resource or delivery challenges
  • Line management of the Production Coordinator
  • Planning and managing workload with all members of the creative and production team. Day-to-day progress tracking of key projects and resources ensuring productivity and efficiency - making changes where necessary
  • Managing the end-to-end creative process to maximise both performance and efficiency, proactively seeking feedback and providing analysis, and using insights to drive improvements
  • Becoming the champion of commercial awareness in the team, ensuring that we manage our resources (people and budget) with care and consideration, investing in the right areas, and avoid wasting time or money
  • Tracking and managing Creative team costs - responsible for freelancer, agency and production budgets
  • Ensuring the team can effectively use Float (resourcing and capacity planning) and Asana (project management and task tracking) tools on a day-to-day basis whilst identifying opportunities to evolve tool capabilities to better support the delivery of great creative work
  • Supporting creative people leaders to develop the creative team, feeding into reviews and development conversations, and contributing to role design and recruitment as required
  • Being a guardian of the brand as well as a champion of creative excellence
