Our Green Investment Group's global offshore wind business is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of 15+ GW of offshore wind projects, the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.

Reporting to the Head of Product Management, you will join the team as a Senior Front-End Engineering Design Specialist to take the technical lead in Electrical areas of Offshore winds projects and their future development.

You will be responsible to develop, implement and communicate a clear technology driven strategy, be the first point of contact for technical questions/challenges and define the future of Electrical solutions. You will be the first point of contact regarding challenges and technical questions and guidance whilst developing a clear strategy for Electrical engineering solutions.

In this role it is vital that you take ownership of your work, and you are highly motivated by the combination of bringing standard and innovative engineering solutions forward through quality and safety. You will look to secure an innovative engineering platform with new ideas that can be implemented to secure levelised cost of energy reductions and ensure that lessons learned are captured and implemented.

To be successful in this position, you will have previous experience performing feasibility studies and early project investigations, providing engineering support for all project phases and develop and optimise standardised solutions and concepts, whilst ensuring H&S requirements are met.

You will have an engineering degree, coupled with at least 5 years professional engineering experience, ideally within offshore wind projects, or other related offshore industries. You will have strong technical experience within electrical solutions, from grid to sub-stations and models and electrical solutions of Wind Turbines and related components, operational to functional performance
