Our Green Investment Group's global offshore wind business is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of 15+ GW of offshore wind projects, the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.

To support our next phase of growth, you will join the Electrical Lead’s team as a Senior Electrical Engineer initially focusing on a 1.5GW Offshore wind project, where you will play a key part in our current and future wind projects and their development.

You will be responsible to develop, implement and communicate a clear technology driven strategy and closely work together with other stakeholders for technical engineering solutions and define future of electrical solutions, whilst maintaining your role as the expert in the organization and go-to within electrical design solutions.

You will possess broad electrical knowledge, ideally with experience in offshore wind however, it could be within HV switchgears incl. multifunction relays, Sub stations, Converters, transformers, grid etc.

You will be expected to have experience designing and developing concepts for the overall electrical power transmission system from the offshore substation to the wind turbine generator, but also performing power system studies on the wind farm, including power flow, voltage control, dynamic analysis, fault ride through, stability and harmonic studies

You are expected to perform feasibility studies and early/pre project investigations, engineering support for all project phases and develop and optimise standardised solutions and concepts, whilst coordinating efforts to secure sufficient quality and H&S requirements are met.

You will have an engineering degree, at least 5 years of professional engineering experience and ideally come from a related offshore industry, onshore wind or complex experience within the energy, power plants, infrastructure or construction.
