Job Summary

The Sales Account Manager II provides exceptional service and support to each of our group administrators, agent/broker partners and partner organizations and achieves the goal of one call resolution or same day follow up

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answers all telephone calls within established department standards. Provides verification of agent and status prior to providing information and assists agents/brokers in the areas of plan and product information: agent training, certification, licensing, member eligibility, and application status, both over the telephone and via the agent online portal

  • Helping businesses determine which voluntary benefits programs suit their employees best.

  • Educating business owners that they can offer Aflac at no direct cost, offer potential tax savings to the employer and employees, and boost employee moral by offering affordable policies to help cover the large gaps that most employees face.

  • Works directly with Sales Representatives and Underwriters to draft and finalize summary quotes

  • Documents agent calls within the established database, ensuring that all notes are completed using established templates.

  • Maintains appropriate current source documents and reference materials.

  • Assists with material order requests via established procedures.

  • Assists with agent/broker oversight tasks and documentation

  • Develop new broker relationships via telephone and email, educate brokers on Argus Dental and Vision products to increase sales, provide excellent customer service and delegate escalated issues to correct departments, and effectively guide brokers and customers through our new business enrollment process.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Two years of Sales Account Management
  • Experience in the dental or dental insurance industry highly preferred.
  • Three years of professional experience

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
